A decentralized exchange is an exchange that does not rely on a third party to hold customers’ funds. Instead, decentralized exchanges such as EltronX Exchange facilitate trades that occur directly between customers, on a peer to peer basis.

Decentralized exchanges are, by their very nature, trustless. That means that you don’t have to trust the exchange company or anyone to hold your tokens. (We know what that can lead to).

Instead, you send your tokens to an ETH contract programmed to conduct the exchange of tokens upon receiving promised tokens and instructions from both parties. This makes transactions auditable, secure, safe and fast.

Sometimes the ETH network gets clogged and it takes longer than usual for token transfers to confirm. If that’s the case, your best strategy is to sit tight and track your transaction on EtherScan. We also adjust the gas prices dynamically so in most cases it should be enough.

If you get no response it 10 mins please refresh and try again.

If you continue to have issues please contact support and explain the details of your transactions and what you experienced.

Our order book is a list of orders placed by buyers and sellers on EltronX.

EltronX’s Order Book where Maker’s post their orders cryptographically signed to ensure security.

The Order Book is hosted ”off-chain” which means the bulk of transactional data is stored separate from the Ethereum Blockchain and only final settlement is recorded to the Ethereum Blockchain.

This is done to allow high transaction volumes in real time at a low cost.

Please follow the instructions you see on when enabling the 2-Factor-Authentification.
You will find the 2FA (2-Factor-Authentication) activation in your User account under the following:

“My Profile” ->“Profile” -> Scroll Down -> Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
–> Enable and then please follow the instructions.

Please check first your spam folder. If it’s not in there, than please write us again.

Please check if the clock settings are correct on the device you are working with the 2 FA authenticator. As 2FA is a time critical process, the difference between your clock and of the server should be reduced to a minimum.

Please send us a picture of you holding up your passport and a second one where you are holding your proof of address. After that we have verified that the person on the pictures is you, we will disable and then everything should be good.
